Hundreds of fans turned out to see the cast of the BBC Wales sci-fi series arrive in Cardiff by helicopter for a promotional visit.
John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Gareth David-Lloyd landed on the Torchwood hub in Cardiff Bay before heading to the city centre for a DVD signing session.
The latest five-part story Torchwood: Children of Earth was the most successful of the programme's three series to date, attracting an average audience of 5.8 million viewers per episode.
